LSO Brings Centenary Celebration to Close at 2005 Florida International Festival
The Florida International Festival announces an all-star lineup of conductors and soloists for the London Symphony Orchestra's (LSO) series of performances beginning July 15, 2005. Founded in 1904, the LSO marks the end of a year-long 100th birthday celebration at the 2005 Florida International Festival. The LSO is the only European Orchestra to take summer residency in the United States.
Florida International Festival Gala Postponed
The new date for The Denim & Diamonds Gala, benefiting the Florida International Festivalís 2005 Season is Saturday, May 14, beginning at 6:30 at the Ocean Center in Daytona Beach.
The Central Florida Cultural Endeavors, Inc. is a non-profit organization that presents a wide variety of cultural events in Volusia and Flagler counties. The most important CFCE project is the Florida International Festival, featuring the London Symphony Orchestra, which kicks off July 15-31, 2005.
