Totally Classical Series
IL GIARDINO ARMONICO, APR. 10, 2005 Considered one of the most remarkable Baroque ensembles performing today, every member of IL Giardino Armonico is a virtuoso soloist, each specializing in period instruments. Depending on the program, the award-winning cast consists of anywhere from three to 30 musicians. These performers give a new voice to the classics by adding spontaneous ornamentations and improvisations so that the pieces are not museum works but instead, vibrant offerings. Their recordings of works by 18th-century composers have received major awards. | | For tickets call (386) 257-7790 or buy online!
