MOUNTAIN HEART, MARCH 18-19, 2005
Bluegrass music's fastest rising band, Mountain Heart, heated up the stage when they opened for Ricky Skaggs and Kentucky Thunder during the 2003 Florida International Festival. And, while they've also opened for the likes of George Jones and Merle Haggard, this group is rooted in the intimate atmosphere of music festivals. Their CD, “No Other Way,” was released by Skaggs Family Records in 2002, and “Force of Nature” followed in May 2004. Read the Press Release...

IL GIARDINO ARMONICO, APR. 10, 2005
Considered one of the most remarkable Baroque ensembles performing today, every member of IL Giardino Armonico is a virtuoso soloist, each specializing in period instruments. Depending on the program, the award-winning cast consists of anywhere from three to 30 musicians. These performers give a new voice to the classics by adding spontaneous ornamentations and improvisations so that the pieces are not museum works but instead, vibrant offerings. Their recordings of works by 18th-century composers have received major awards.
